So we're singing these simple but beautifully evocative set of "Spring Sketches" ("Kevadkillud" in Estonian) by Veljo Tormis. I am a bird. Though there is an English translation available, my choir, of course, sings it in the original Estonian. Of course, there are also some words that are pronounced the same in both languages.
Spring winds bring blossoms
at night, sun fire, bug bites,
romance, cuckoo calls.
